Job description

> Summary

Under the responsibility of the Regional Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, calibration and installation of medical imaging diagnostic systems to ensure exceptional operation and support for our customers.

 

> Key responsibilities

  • Participate in the installation and calibration of new equipment installed in hospitals and clinics;
  • Support the policies, procedures and practices of Christie Innomed;
  • Provides field service for commissioning, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, proactively resolves issues, and performs preventive maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment. ;
  • Maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment;
  • Meet the expectations of customers in terms of quality of service and communication;
  • Complete documentation related to products, test reports, service records, etc;
  • Travel to hospitals and clinics to carry out planned and unplanned service activities related to analog and digital radiography systems, mammography systems and computer-assisted radiology systems;
  • Effectively manage time and assigned projects;
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to customers outside of business hours.

Job requirements

> Qualifications and experience

  • College diploma in electronics, computer science or electromechanics, or in another relevant field of study;
  • At least 2 years of experience in the maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital / medical setting;
  • In addition, the incumbent will have specific skills in terms of modality, including Radiographic, Radiographic / Fluoroscopic, Mammography, knowledge of PACS terms, SIR, DICOM an asset;
  • Strong mechanical or electromechanical skills;
  • Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds;
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating system and networks would be an asset.
